Some crazy crap

Let me know if anyone has ever had this happen to them.After my 5spd swap i just always steped on the clutch b4 i started the car as noramly you would in a manual car.The other morning i was tired as hell and forgot to step on the clutch and the car started right up.Now i just come to figure out i dont ever need to step on the clutch b4 i start the car.Thats pretty damm weird??
so has anyone had this happen?Would hookin up the maual ecu make this go away?

sounds like you don't have a clutch safety switch. i'm going to take mine off because it's not working proper.

^^^ or it's not making contact, etc. The ecu won't make it go away, the wiring for the starting system is completely seperate from the ecu. Does your cruise control work?
