Floor vibration from 1.5k - 2k rpms, after y-pipe install? Leaks maybe??
This didnt start happening till after i installed my y-pipe. The vibration happens right under my foot so this leads me to think that the y-pipe is the cause. If i give it some or little gas between 1.5k - 2k rpms, the vibration begins. Any ideas on how to stop this? This usually happens when the car is warming up all the way to about me driving for 10 mins but then it stops.
Also, when i start the car up in the morning, i see my muffler jerking back & forth a litte but it stops after the car warms up. The noise the muffler makes is kind of a popping sound? Maybe even a gurgle or two. I was told i might have an exhaut leak??
Last, when i give car gas, the y-pipe makes a funny noise. Not so much of bee's in a can but kinda like a nastysounding riced exhaust. I think this can be a bad seal or bad flex section on my y-pipe.

Same thing happened to me when I first installed my y-pipe. You know that big metal thing going down the center of the car on the underside right next to the y-pipe. I think it's part of the engine mount. Well, your y-pipe is vibrating against it. I'm not sure what others did to fix this, but I used a power filer and filed down a small portion of that mount.
