Corner Lights

I just got my passenger side replacement corner light(shopping cart smashed it), and man it looks huge compared to the one on the car. Thought it was a headlight at first. Anyway, i need to buy bulbs so im wondering what are those blueish ones some people have. I like that look alot, but im not sure why there blue.

thet are blue to filter out yellow light. there are about 1,000,000 types of bulbs but if you stick to piaa/sylvania/phillips you'll be ok.

i had the same problem. Walmart sent me a check. I got the r34 lights. Anyways, I used to run the polarg hyper whites.

Now I have been using the silverstars
Has a much classier look. Also being legal is nice too. Cops around here are picky. Although, they have not said anything about my hyper white tag lights!!! Knock on wood, been 6 months now.

I just tried taking out the old corner light, i must be missing something. There is one screw on top connecting to the passenger headlight housing. I cant see anything else that would hold it in but when i pull out on the light it doesnt move. Is there another screw hidden someplace?

Just that one screw. If you take a screwdriver and look toward the bottom of the light behind it, you will see a tab that is holding it, just place the screwdriver right beside it and pull. It wont break, even though it may feel like it.

it has a ball and socket holding it in. Take a screwdriver, wrap a rag around the end, then pry the light out (where the corner meets the headlight)

well there is only on screw on top and the ball and socket. Not sure what you're doing to the light to break it tho. You're obviously not prying in the right spot if you snapped something off and the light still didn't come off ha

Ok whoops missed the part about prying from the front end, haha, ye go ahead and bash on me. Now that its out, i dont want to screw anything up do i put the new one in door side first behing the little metal peice or front side first then push the other side behind the metal?

yeah but the metal piece into the slot on the light first then kinda shove it back and in. Then put in the screw. You'll never mess it up again now so thats a plus.
