Lower Suspension Question
Has anyone ever tried these or have comments about them?? OBX coilover (sleeve) kit.
I want to lower my car with coilovers but that is not going to be a reality for a long long time. I was going to just buy some s-techs but i'm not sure if i'll get a drop that i'll like. So it has come down to s-techs or these adjustable obx coilover sleeve. Which do you think would be a better buy? Thanks for the help...

I have S-techs and while I don't love them as far as ride and performance, they are decent quality and look nice. I would go with the S-techs over the OBX stuff.
you won't be tuck'n tire with the S-techs but the fender gap is reduced alot.

I got the tokico illumina with tokico spring package. I love it, the quality is really nice and so is the drop. Drives like a dream now and sticks to the ground on huge curves, no body roll whatsoever now.

I saw these and i guess supposedly they come with an eibach springs so i'm thinking of going this route since others have mentioned eibach springs.
I like the way the S-techs look on your car but i wanted it to be a tiny bit lower in the front. The back of your car looks good but the front looks a lil higher.

I have the eibachs and tokico blues. I kind of wish the previous owner (my best friend) would use another lowering solution if such exists because every time I hit a bump I feel my spine shatter. This is what we deal with in Brooklyn...

Thats crazy. The roads that i usually drive on aren't too bad. Once in a while i'll find a pothole but i try to avoid em, but there are times where i can't and take the pain. Thanks for your sugguestion.

I have eibach spring with I believe a 3 inch drop, and the ride isnt to bad. I hade 2 hernias L3~4,4~5 and the ride wont kill you believe me. NOw they definetly wont last against pothole like above but on normal streets (NY Normal) they ride smooth. I dont know what kind of shocks I have probably stock the previous owner was cheep!!!

Eibach's are hardly a 3" drop. more like 1.5-2" at the most.
laflyer23- if you're looking at s-techs, the spring rates are pretty soft for how low it is. and also do NOT even consider those cheap OBX sleeve kits. you better be buying shocks if youre going to upgrade. stock struts are not going to be able to handle it.
