car is stallin at startup...WTF!!!
hey i kinda got a problem...i just changed my spark plugs for my 60K tuneup...i did it about a 1000 miles late cuz ive been busy..and i used NGK plat...and i also changed the air filter to a K&N drop-in..changed the fuel filter, PCV valve, started using mobil 1 synthetic motor oil...but i put in the plugs a few weeks after the rest of the stuff...and when i started the car with the new plugs in...it started for a second and then just died..then i tried it again...same thing...and then finally i had to give sum gas upto about 3000 RPM for two secs to keep the car on...this scared me and i wanna kno wasssup?? also another thing....my K&N doesnt fit EXACTLY perfect into the housing...its about a 1/2" small, but i checked with like 5 auto parts stores and its the right filter number and everything...but my idle is at about 500, sumtimes maybe 600...can the lil space in the air filter be the prob?? is this just how the K&N fits...or should i just go with a stock OEM filter for like $10?? help me here...dont want my car to screw up

The K&N filter should fit perfectly the correct P/N is 33-2031-2. There should be no gaps at all around the filter. If the P/N on the box is correct, perhaps the wrong element was in the box you got.
