While cleaning MAF, I took it apart, the wrong way...??
I decided to do a little maintenance on the max. I cleaned the throttle body, every thing went smoothly. I then decide to clean the MAF sensor... This is where I think I messed up???
I have a Injen CAI, so It was removed when I was at the TB. So I further disconnected the other pipes to the CAI and had the MAF all alone...
I must have read the instructions on the MAF cleaner wrong, because I started to remove the screws to hold the MAF harness to the MAF. They are these 4 screws on the MAF. I figured I would get to the sensor through there? I then pulled the harness socket with the metal prongs off.
After doing that I realized that I messed up. I thought I heard a snap so I quickly placed the harness socket back on and screwed it back. I was so pissed.
Anyway I then sprayed the wires like I should have in the first place and waited till it dryed and put every thing back together.
I had a check engine light from my O2 sensor that broke. I haven't checked it after this screw up...
Only now about a month after I messed up, my car starts to hesitate and turn off. It only happened twice, It would happen when I stopped at a red lights.
Now, was removing that harness connector a bad idea? Do you guys think i broke the sensor?
What now?
Thanks, guys

the MAFS is most likely gone. if anything you should've just sprayed it, but even then it still might be messed up; as what happened to mine. either find a used one here on the org or prepare to spend mucho dinero (im not kidding) on one from the dealer. good luck.

Here are my codes:
1) 1001 Left Htd O2 sensor Htr
2) 0902 Rear Htd O2 sensor Htr
Thats all my codes?
No, MAF code??? I read some where about bad coil packs?? But wouldn't that throw a code as well???
Seems today the car wanted to stall again at a red light. I gave it some gas to keep her up again... What now?

Well went to the old mechanic... Got my O2 sensor relocated and changed... And the "new MAF sensor" Had to replace it... Now the car drives like a dream and no check engine lights, finally... I got used to that yellow light... But I wont miss it...
Thanks all...
