Hydraulic clutch 2nd bleeder/tubing question
Hi Folks, I just realized that I haven't been bleeding both connections for my hydraulic clutch, only the one at the slave cylinder. Can anyone explain the purpose of the upper bleeder (just in front of/next to the driver's side strut tower) and the little circles of tubing to which it is connected? I don't really see the purpose of this extra length of tubing. Thanks, Rich

i dont think there is a use for the top bleeder anywayz.. thats why people replace the whole line with a SS one....
I never saw any advantage of bleeding the top one.. it made not difference... all i bleed was the bottom one..

The top one's to grab any air bubbles before it gets to the slave. It also acts as a buffer (not like hydrolic fluid compresses much anyways), which's why they have the extra coils. The buffer makes clutch pedal actuation smoother somehow. There's discussions in the 240sx forums about this.
