Whose got the highest mileage?? Any issues?

IBTL
97 SE with 217,000 miles
&
97 GLE with 188,000 miles
Minimal work done to the SE. Radiator, plugs, rear calipers, both valve covers, FPR and fuel filter.
WAY too many mods and fixes on the GLE than I care to mention.

I have 234,000k original miles on my 98 5 spd. I dunno if I can make 300k or not. Still original water pump and clutch, and I don't consider water pump DIY and not sure I'd want to pay to have it done.
I just did my radiator on Sat., as it started leaking in Feb. Was messier than I wanted it to be, couldn't get the drain undone, so I lifted it out with coolant and the fans attached
Do you guys think cars are made like this anymore?
I would like to buy another 15+ yr. car. We already have a BMW and a GM, and I've decided against a GTI. What I was thinking of was a WRX Limited. They are not great looking, but still made in Japan. Nice torque.....

Mileage
95 GLE 169 k miles. Man what haven't I replaced... Most recently... Knock sensor, fuel injector, IAC, lower control arm bushings, left rear brake caliper, radiator, valve cover gaskets, both axles, fighting rust..I am addicted to this car.

236k miles, 1998 Infiniti I30, most of life in Northeast States
Still on original: Tranny, motor mounts, entire power steering system including tie rods, entire cooling system aside from new coolant, entire exhaust system aside from mufflers, fuel pump, coils, calipers, wheels, all engine seals/gaskets except valve covers
Main issue now is rust. I've had to start parking my car in the street overnight because after a rainfall I was getting rust spots along both sides of my car (near the edges of the car under the doors), even though only visible rust from the exterior is along the rear wheel wells.

97 SE 227180 right now, i know I'm not the highest but other than a coil pack here and there is mostly been the suspension worn out, had to change the clutch at 180 right after i bought it, dunno if it was the factory installed clutch or not

302,000 miles. Front axles need to be replaced. Very light seeping gaskets. Other than that, no major issues. Clutch may be going. Seem to slip the other day during acceleration. Like it was giving out. Probably time for a front end overhaul, new control arms, new struts, mounts etc etc. I put KYB Struts in there almost 3 years ago. I had Monroe in there before that. I know this may be sacrilegious to some, but, I think the Monroe's were a better ride. I also find that I get better acceleration when I use Mobil 1 Full Synthetic High Mileage vs Valvoline High Mileage Full Synthetic.
Anyone have a preference for Control Arms? Moog? A1 Cardone?
Cheers

I prefer moog.I'm a mechanic and have done a lot of research on this stuff. 1.lifetime warranty.2.grease nipple on ball joint. 3. Moog claims that their bushings are not affected by grease and oil. Who's Max doesn't leak something.BTW Rock Auto parts pretty reasonable

Can't remember when I last posted but have 365,000 and had to replace Rack and Pinion with low mileage OEM one and had dealer install it. Next is the sweating tranny cooler lines which I probably need to replace copper washers.

365K miles on NYC roads? What kind of suspension? OEM?

204,000 miles
purchased early 2006 with 101,000
two starters, radiator, recent water pump. brakes, windshield, battery,
egr blockage.
Not bad for 100,000 miles of driving. This car might last ten more years.

Both car at auction for 500$ and 140 000 miles. Today 218 000 miles. Replaced so far brake pads front and back a few times. Front left brake caliper 2 times and rear left once. Both drive shaft and front left bearing. Alternator too. Everything else work in car perfect or near perfection. It is Infiniti i30 97. and it is best car I ever had regard amount of fixing needed.
Edit. Of course lower radiator support is rotten. It was rusted through, engine hanging in air when I both it at auction. Was looking for other car part at Upull and find at another Nissan maxima thick metal L profile that hang at lower radiator support. Toke it off and pay for it 60c. Screwed L support to not rusted part of lower radiator support with sheet metal screws. Hold still always.

313,xxx on my '95 GLE. Couple of water pumps, ignition coil, radiator last year. Drove it 5 hours to the beach and back home this past summer.
Was running great until last Friday night when the battery and brake lights came on. I pulled over, popped the hood and the damn thing caught fire. Still waiting to hear back from my mechanic if it's worth trying to fix. God I hate car shopping.
