Head Lights

I just installed the Sylvania Cool Blues 9004 bulbs for my head lights, and now it makes the lights on the corners next to the head lights look dim. Does anyone know what kind of bulbs I can get for the (corner lights)?

Have you done the re-wire or bulb modification to make the corners bright?

What year car do you have? You might try re-wiring them to have them light up all the time.

I'm kind of new at this, but what do you mean re-wire or bulb modification? And by "corners" are you talking about the lights on the bumpers? like clear corners? What I meant by the corner lights was the ones that are right next to my headlights.

Thanks for replying.

I have a 95 Maxima SE. How do you re-wire?

After you change the headlight to Sylvania Cool Blues 9004 bulb, the corner light next to the headlight looks yellow in comparison. You can change the bulb with Super White 1157 type bulb such as Polarg Super White 35/5W or other brand like Raybirg and so on. They will match closer to your headlight so they look brighter.

The corner light next to the headlight on 95 & 96 Max use dual filament. The 5W is on as parking light then the other will be on with the turn light as an extra cornering light. This extra conering light will not on unless the parking light is on.
