My friend and I just installed my new y-pipe yesterday. Its a warpspeed y-pipe i ordered from ebay. We had fun taking the old one off... used a torch to cut it off and get the old bolts off of the cat.
Anyways, I love it. I had a huge exhaust leek before, so it just seems so quiet now.... I can barely hear the car running . There is a teeny bit a bees in a can noise that I noticed, but you can't hear it inside, especially over the CAI. Even outside its only really noticable at all when the engine is reving down. Hopefully it doesn't get worse.

Performace gains are noticable, though its not too drastic of a change. Mostly I'm just glad my car sounds better.

 

congrats, normally an aftermarket y pipe is slightly louder than a stock y pipe that is in good condition. now you can cut up the stock y pipe and recycle the precats if you want. pm shawneecore, he gave me $50 shipped for my precats. let him know i told you to contact him, ive done alot of business with him
