E-Break Light

Help! This morning I started my car, and it was fine, but after i drove about 2 miles...my e break light turned on. I check if the e-break if it is on or not, but it's not... i pulled it up and release it, and still the light stayed on. i turned off my car, and started it again, and the light turned on again. The funny thing is... when i took a u-turn the light went off....got any suggestions?

Re: E-Break Light

The light will also come on when your brake fluid is low. This could be caused by a leak or if the brake pads are way low.

you have a leak in your brake lines/master cyliner/calipers. take your car in as soon as you can to get it checked out. Don't want to see a message saying that your pedal hit the floor and you hit the wall. then your maxima would be gone (not that anyone cares about you j/k)

It happened to me 2, i needed new break pads and fluid. I had a break job done and it went away, if the break light is on it's not just the e-break
