No activity or light at all...
Fuse? Bulb (which kind?) ? Just replace the thing, and if so where?

its not a fuse unless other stuff is out too. its not a bulb since its an lcd screen. most likey the screen is broken and needs to be replaced. best bet would probably be to replace it.

mine is fading on the sides, but still bright in the middle, but that's only with I have parking lights on or headlights on..when it's just the clock on ( no parking lights or headlights), it's nice and bright!
what gives?

The car I just bought has the same issue, I believe mine is loose wiring. Not a big deal as I need the whole piece that includes the defrost, emergency flashers, clock and vents. Looks pretty easy to replace, I'd just get a new clock, or get behind there and wiggle the wires to see if it's just a loose wire.

really? but every other lights are fine...
I thing I do notice in winter time, when I just start up the car, while the car is "warming up" in the first 3-4 minutes, with the lights on, whenever I press the clutch, the lights would dim.. is that an indication of bad ground/alternator as well?
