You should ask when it was purchased. If someone bought their '99 in 2001, the price would be a lot higher than someone who bought one in 2008. You should ask for the milage and condition too.

g) suspect lower control arm bushings are worn out - looking at this soon.

i really appreciate the advice i always had a thing for the dark metallic green, my first max a 96 was that color and its almost black at night but still has a sporty look in daylight

i drove other cars after that but after i hopped in a 99 i remembered what can be done with the 4th gens with $3k worth of mods...

Has shuttering problem and just bought 6 new Nissan coils on ebay for 285. Will vhanges plugs and hope this will fix the issue.

4.) Replaced the struts and shocks with Tokico HP's and Megan springs (they fit the budget and so far ride pretty good). Also replaced both cv axles which according to her (completely terrible driver and even worse at taking care of a car) had been making popping sounds for the last 2 years. Awesome.

In spite of the neglectful and almost purposeful way she went about owning the car it actually has no other major issues mechanically and is rust free, other than the fuel filler pipe which had rusted through, (I fixed with longer fuel hose 1-1/2" if you ever need it) and the exhaust, which I patched with a few clamps and piece of pipe from AdvancedAuto (the exhaust won't be staying for long so this is all temporary mind you).

The worst thing is that the car sat for the winter, and in that time a mouse built a nest on top of the engine block, on top of the knock sensor, which of course now flashes a fault code, and that thing is a b*tch to get at.

It does runs strong and drives pretty damn well now that the stock suspension is gone.
