Power Steering Belt Removal

So my Power Steering Pump went bad and needs to be replaced, but I really do not have the time to work on it right now. I was looking at the belt that runs strictly to the power steering pump and was wondering if I could temporarily just remove the belt and run without power steering until I have more time to replace it myself.

Any possible problems with this?

Thanks

It's located to the rear of your main pully. There is one belt runs from the center pully to the power steering pump and that's it.

Thanks for the quick reply fanaticrockford. I am holding off on fixing the power steering pump until it warms up a bit. I'll be fine without power steering for a while ;D

I have a question about my power steering pulley being out of alignment but I can't post a thread about (Because I don't have 15 replies). Can anyone help? THe power steering pulley seems to stick out past the other two pulleys it connects to, which is making it jump or shred ribs off. Anyone know what's causing this?

Mismounted pump or maybe even the wrong pump or pump pully is installed.
