Passenger Motor Mount

I'm trying to replace my side motor mount with a polyurethane one I made. It seems impossible to change it with the motor in. Does anyone have any tips to get it out? I'm particularly concerned about the bolt from underneath.

i believe you have to jack it up to take the weight off of the mount. check the stickies, there should be a write-up.

Don't need a jack for the passenger side. Actually, as far as I've ever done on Maximas (A32, A33, A33B) you don't need a jack for any of them as long as all of the others are installed (obviously for the crossmember, you need the two side mounts in place).

I saw the third link after a search. The vertical bolt on the bottom is a tight fit to get off. It seems like you need a deep wrench to get it off. That in itself will cause something to obstruct you from turning it. Than trying to go from underneath you have the drive belt in the way. I guess I'm looking more for a technic for getting that bolt off.

I jacked the car up. It didn't do anything. I replaced the auto tranny mount. Simple but you have to remove alot of stuff to get it off.

Yea, I have all four. I did them myself. I'm doing the center one when it gets a little warmer.
