Side Moulding Removal

Anyone done this? I was reading another post about debadging and wondered if anyone had gone a step further and removed the door mouldings. I did this to my GMC pickup and love the clean, smooth result. It took some time and two DeWalt batteries on my cordless, but it's well worth it.

It would take bodywork, as the side moldings have double sided tape and plastic clips that go into the door. It has been done though, and IMO it looks really nice. Just takes a bit more work than cars that only use the tape.

Oh hell, I didn't realize there were clips, that would take a ton of time and more skill than I have. I do think it would look pretty damn nice though.
