I jsut looked at super bright led web sight. my amber clearance corners are going out. the amber film is peeling. i want to replace them with amber LED's so that i wont have that problem again. the sites has a 1157 LED...

do they work at both brightness lvls. ie..low ON and then bright ON when turning.

do they fit well?, are they bright enough to be used as a turn signal for others to see.

do i need any additional hardware to use them correctly?

I did a complete led retro but i would stay away from led pnp bulbs. They are dangerously dim in the day time.

 

so the daytime flash for a turn signal isnt bright enough to see even if its amber? i plan of keeping the regular halogen brake lights. its only for the clearance corners.

other than that, do they blink at the correct speed without any other stuff connected to it?

 

No you will get hyperflash and they will not be seen. jtsmith or something like that has the switchbacks that are a ton brighter . *EDIT* heres mine.
