reset the ecu. Pull the code. Fix the problem Could be a loose connection on the MAF or something simple that you overlooked.

the thing is, is that the intake that i got was for the 95-98 maxima, which has a different sensor connector than a 99. So we covered up the holes where the old one goes, and drilled a hole for the new one. We just used the rubber piece from the stock intake and plugged it right in. It works fine. Just the CEL is on.

Then how about you pull the codes?

That's like asking a doctor 'I hurt, what's wrong with me?' with absolutely no further explanation.

Pull the codes, then come back.

Check the codes. And don't ask us how because it's in the Haynes / Chiltons which, for only $15 ea, you should already own. It's cool that we can read the codes on our car for free / without a reader.

Code P0wnd = means your intake isn't operating properly.

Probably a maf or iat code from at one point having them disconnected with key on, read. clear, and...oh yeah-

Are you asking him if he noticed any gains? Or are you telling him to notice gains.

transmission seems to sometimes take too long to up shift into the next gear, and the engine rpm's at highway speed (65mph) are around 3500rpms when they should be between 2500 and 3000rpms,like it can't go into a higher gear, and my CEL is on.

Can any of the following codes be a reason for the noted above??

I connected the ecu to the code reader

popped up

P035 knock sensor
Bank 1 i think.(have no idea what it means)

P1130 Manufacturer control air( probbaly my intake that was installed the other day)

P1605 I think it said sup input, output auxilary ports?? IDEAs??

Thanks a lot guys.

Going to mechanics tomorrow.

It's cold outside. I say your tranny is shifting a lil harder because the fluids are not warm enough.
