Bleed clutch more?
Hey guys, today I put on my new clutch slave cylinder and lower clutch hose. I bled the system from the upper and lower bleed screws and it has ample fluid in the reservoir but the clutch feels weaker than before. If I pump the clutch for like a minute in neutral before I begin driving, it feels GREAT, but then it starts feeling like *** again if I let it sit. Soooo, I was thinking I would just bleed it again, but let me know if there is anything else to look for. It isnt leaking or anything anymore, but I bled it till I was pretty sure no air was coming out. Its frustrating, lol.

Keep bleeding it, the pressure should be what it was before you had any issues. Are doing the procedure correctly? You need to bleed the lower first, then the upper. You also can't let ANY air get in to the system ANY time throughout the procedure. I know what a PITA it is to have to keep getting under the car, getting the fluid on you, etc. My advice is get some ATE superblue and make 100% it's all changed out. I started this with my brakes and do it with my clutches now as well. Look here to find more details on the procedure Nissan Maxima clutch bleed and potential problems you may encounter/have already encountered.
Expect to put half a bottle through the system to get it perfect.
