Rock chips / paint chips

I got 2 rock chips in my windshield that are starting to crack a little.
Each crack is about an inch or less in length. im trying to get them repaired. anybody had this done? Id like to have some idea of how much itll hurt my wallet.
Also, any tips on fixing chips in paint? i have a few on my hood, theyre starting to rust a little. how do i touch these up?

Call your insurance agent/company. I know on my policy I am entitled to a free windshield every few years. They can show up at your work, change the windshield in the parking lot, and you'll be all set - no need to go anywhere, no need to pay, etc.

or you can buy that filler front autozone that works really good on small cracks and chips, I used it before and it literally made a crack disappear. perhaps it was good luck.

I'll be replacing my windshield in the next few months through my insurance. Everytime I take my car to a hands-on car wash (which is never), they always ask me if I want them to fill those little bad boys. I have a bunch. But my windshield is so pitted that it just needs to be replaced. My dad had his replaced on his Expedition for about $200 or so. So he's thinkin' it'd be way less for my Maxima. But yeah good luck with everything
