It doesn't help that S2000's have some of the nicest single-xenon projectors in them, either; they truly are GOOD projectors.

If you do projectors, you might as well do HID's in the projectors. So yes, you would need ballasts.

So if I had to replace a parking light due to it being cracked, would going with a one piece chrome, while not the best lighting upgrade be somewhat better than OEM?

Are the Cefiros one piece units replacing the parking light as well?

No, unless you find some OEM Cefiros. Be warned, Cefiros do not fit right, and you will have to modify your car to get them to fit, and it's not really reversible i.e. you can't install stockers after you modify the car.

They replace the corner lights, yes.

They replace the corner lights, yes.
not unless you re-weld a bracket back in. that was done to my car after a front end collision. those cefiros fit terribly no matter how much you try to fix it. i do miss the city light and the cool one piece look but overall wasnt worth it. now if you had an i30 thats another story.

i guess i got a great deal on fx's w/bulbs from ebay for 75 shipped. :

and the rx330's for 70 shipped.

IMHO the stock fog lights on a scale of 1-10 were about a 4 for output. 5 being the average of all cars everywhere. I think that the r34's w/9006 low beam were about a 3. But with 9005 bulbs low beam were about a 6. The beam is more intense than 9004 or 9007 in stock housings. The beam is slightly wider than the stock housings also.

In other words...... i could live w/the r34's w/ 9005 halogen low beam.

But the fx's are so much nicer... probably a 9.5 on the scale as far as output. Especially w/50w hid's.

I have had a 4300k PNP kit installed in my wifes 98 Max stock headlights with no problems. No people flashing me or anything, yes there is glare but i can see perfectly fine in the rain/snow...no need for high beams. I couldnt see a damn thing with the factory headlight bulbs unless the high beam was on....also tried silverstars with no luck.

If your tight on cash just do the PNP kit in the factory headlight...but dont go with the 6000k your wasting your time..no higher then 5000k

Seeing perfect is all relative to your perspective. You are right about everyone not wanting to open their headlights and install projectors. I don't think it's terrible to do pnp in stock reflectors. Some headlights respond better than others. 2007 civics look amazing w/ 4300k pnp's. 98 maxima headlights...idk about that one.
