CV Axle slips out of tranny?

ANyone had this problem? I made sure it was snug in there and also in the hub, but I heard a loud click and then the thing seemed loose? for some reason... Checked and it had slipped about a half inch out of the tranny case.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO???
Thanks in advance!

is it an aftermarket part?

sometimes aftermarket axles can be the incorrect length.
