I love my cruise control

I don't know why this is but the cruise control on my car is the best out of all the cars I drive. I say this because right when I hit the "cruise" button it pops on and takes over. On my moms minivan and my ex's Cavalier, when I hit the button it takes a few seconds to react and it usually drops in speed before it takes over. The same also happens on my Dad's Jeep. Also it takes on time to increase speed when I travel up a hill. In the other cars stated the cruise control reacts very slowely. How does everyone else do?

I find it kinda annoying, when i hit resume, it hits the throttle for a sec, sometimes if im using cruise on a busier freeway it moves me a little to close to the car infront of me.

Its kinda cool using my safc2 to monitor how much throttle the cruise actually uses. I know in 5th gear its gone up to 33-34% throttle.

One man's trash is another man's....

The A32 cruise control is really touchy. I find the throttle inputs to be abrupt and the reaction to grade changes delayed.

I love it when I mash the accel button and my max takes off.(as much as a cruise control can) but as compared to others it is very quick. and I completely agree with you powerman I love this cars cruise compared to others.

Wish mine worked. It used to take a few times hitting the cruise button. Now it just refuses to come on. Need to take a look at it at some point.

My 96's & 97's are instant as well. nice pick-up on the accel button.
Sisters camry lags, some Accords are pretty nice, and my moms 06 2.5 altime is about the same as ours as well. still cant get out of the max tho. would rather drive my 212K 97 vs the 06 altima!

Chief Brody,
Me and my dad used to have a 91 that the cruise went out on. we replaced the ASCD box but to no avail. took it to the local nissan dealer, and the cancel switch was broken, so like it was telling the car cancel all the time this not coming on. dont know how much it cost to fix for it wasnt mine to fix at the time. you might h ave that checked out. . .
