Will ignition coils from a 2000 fit in a 99?

Will ignition coils from a 2000 fit in a 99? And if so, wiill they work? I have seen some coils for 2000 for sale and im curious if I can use them in my 1999...

They bolt up to the valve cover different. So NO

Actually, they do work. I'm running A33 front coils in my car now, and have been for quite a while. No clue about the rears, but the fronts are a yes.

Im just going by the fact that the 2000 Coils have ONE main bolt 10mm...and the 1995-1999 ones have two bolts holding them in...smaller

The left bolt hole on the coil lines up with the boss in the front VC, no problems for coil retention.

not the rears unless you grind the bosses down, and even then who knows if the connectors wont be in the way of the 4th gen upper mani.
