What is the maxima bolt pattern?
Hello All,
I have a 96 maxima with 17in giovanna corsicas. Can someone tell me what the bolt pattern/offset is for the 96 maxima?
I know the rims can be configured in 2 different setups for various cars but am unsure of what either is? Is there a way to measure it so I know what each setup is?
Thank you
gmax

Thank you both for the information. That is very useful.
What is the normal offset for cars with a 5 bolt pattern?
40-42mm?
Also if one was to sell their rims, what would be useful information one would need to know to purchase them? Is the bolt pattern and offset needed or just the offset so long as they know its a 5 bolt pattern?
Thanks,
gmax

Useful site for bolt pattern, offset, etc.
Key measurements for rims:
Bolt pattern
offset
centerbore
Good site for checking this stuff: (not sure if the site is still up) http://www.4autostuff.net/wheels/inf...tReference.htm

offset is going to vary a lot from car to car even with the same bolt pattern. it might be stamped into the back side of the wheel or on a sticker. it is fairly important in doing a good wheel transaction, but some ppl will just buy stuff and throw it on.
the rings are hubcentric rings, which keep the wheels stable. they are related to centerbore, which is also important because if the bore is too small they wont fit on the car. iirc ours is 66.1 but the bore of the wheels is obviously larger or you wouldn't have rings.
bolt pattern is also important.

offset is difficult to explain, 40 offset is FWD offset, and low offset is like deep dish rims that RWD cars can pull off

ok, so their commin off a fwd so should be good with mine. their 18s ill have to look into the offset. if the offset isnt right what happens.
and will this do what i need to do?
