Clicking sound while turning.... replace?

Since this is the CV Joint, can I just buy axles and put them on? If I do this, do I still have to buy CV joints?

Sorry for the stupid question

When you buy a whole drive shaft (cv axle) it comes with brand new cv joints all ready done, ready to install. Just take out the old axles and install the new ones.

Easy fix

Alright so it actuality it's cheaper to just buy a new axle than to actually fix the cv joints?

It's always better to replace the whole axle because the chances of the CV joint braking again are very high,If the boot Is torn and the dirt got in there than the whole axle and the CV joint Is bad.

Take it from me and a lot .org members. Its a lot easier just to replace the whole axle, rather then dissemble the axle, clean every thing, re pack grease... etc. time consuming.. yes

Just buy new axles from auto zone for like 60 bucks and change. But if you do want to save cash, your can rebuild them, i think the kit cost 20$$. Heres a write up http://www.motorvate.ca/mvp.php/401
