Need Interior Opinions

Im planning on repainting my car in a month or so to black. I have a tan interior and i also plan to do leather seats through leatherseats.com
Im thinking a dual tone, tan/black leather look would be nice. Tan outers and black inserts but im not sure how to work it because the dash is a different shade of tan and then i would have colors on the interior. Any ideas, i know someone here has done this because i got the dual tone tan interior idea from a pic a while back, cant find it anymore.

That's exactly my plan, except I plan on doing probably black/khaki with the khaki on the inside. Reason being black=hot and I don't want to burn my **** in the summer. leatherseats.com doesn't make seats for our gen of maxima's though. You'd have to have a shop custom fab it for you. Regarding colors, usually online places will give you small patches of your color choice to see and match up with your car for a small fee. With leather, dyes are going to be unique from batch to batch, so don't rely on a color from one place being the same as the other.

Just to let you know what I might be doing to make sure it matches up the best would be to purchase some stock tan leather seats and then have them fabricated to have black trim, but keep the original tan leather.

Grrrr if you're getting this done before me... lol

Leatherseats.com does make entire kit for our gen. It includes seats, headrests, and door panel inserts. Trust me i checked and called. If you go to the gallery on their site you can even see a 4th gen with dual tone interior.

As for the khaki, you mean the color of the dash or closer to the color of the carpet. Im thinking that dash color, which to me is more like a brown, would be sexier. When i checked prices a few days ago it was like 750-800 for the whole kit, but its diy install so it might be tough.

my opinion is don't do 2 tone, monochromatic looks much better.

if you do go tan/black i dont see having 3 colors as a huge problem since you already have 3.

You may have just saved me some money... thanks! Closer to the carpet/door trim colors. More like this.

However, I'm not wanting black at the top and bottom. A full khaki strip with the black down the sides. I'm going to photoshop and black/brown setup for you and post it here in a few.

Edit: nm... my photoshop came out looking like butt, lol. Maybe someone with better skills than me can do that.

That's definitely unique, but IMO, monochrome is better (like BlackonBlack said)

However, a black car with a tan interior could be nice. Works well in BMWs, could work here.
