need help about lowering, and big break conversion.

#1. i was thinking about switching from eibach to k-sport springs. the only thing i know is that they will put my car lower, and what i want to know is if there is any thing bad about this change and/ or if any one has ksport springs on their car?!

#2. is big break conversion on maxima really worth it? how much better (%) will the car stop?!

I have already searched and couldn't find anything on each of my questions so if anyone wants to offer search, please tell me where except here and google. and guys please no side comments like my other thread, with all due respect if you cant help dont post!

The usual issues of going lower will arise.

Break? I think you mean brake. No studies yielding % have been done. Are those falkien ziex? Cant see tread to well. Get wider rims and grippier tires before a BBK, your existing brakes will probably lock up your wheels now.

The maxima is the largest sedan that still used the puny 11.5" rotor and single piston caliper. This large sedan definately could use some help in the brake dept. If not for performance but for increased pedal feel.

One of the most cost effective bbks is a 6th gen front brake/rotor swap. 12.6" rotors and direct swap.

Another is my bbk brakcet ($60 shipped) + Q or J30 2 piston calipers + 13" Cobra rotors.

Defintately two great bang for the buck mods.

Want bigger calipers? Simply replace the J/Q calipers with 30mm 300zx 4 piston units. Direct swap. But you have to get new ss lines though.

Lot of people on here have K sports, but with 18"s I dunno if I would wanna go lower than Eibach(is it pro kit or sport?) Thats just my preference, around here I think it would be too rough of a ride, but if u got nice roads, why not.

do you think that i would have any clearance problems with 16" rims? (I'm thinking about switching back!) and where do i get ss lines from?

so 6th gen rotor, caliper and caliper bracket is a direct swap, that simple?

AFAIK, there is little no no difference from A32 to A33. Definitely not a piston change(maybe slightly increase in size but not sure).

So the minimum clearance for the 6th gen brakes would be 17"?

Would that clear 5th gen stock maxima 17s?

If so, does anyone sell a kit for the brakes? Or would all I need to buy is:
rotors, calipers, and caliper brackets?

I have never touched brakes on any car before, and I'm sure I'll have to replace mine w/in the next year. I'd love to upgrade if I can.

I have the a similar question . Does the z32 (300zx) 30mm caliper bolt on to out 4th gen maxima. I thinking about doing that but lack of info right now. If somebody did this and is in the new york area ill let you make a little cash off me =D . What do i need besides the caliper and SS lines?
