Are seat belts interchangeable?

Mine BARELY roll up anymore on both the driver and passenger side. I would just prefer to get some new ones or like. Can the seat belt setup from a 5th, 5.5, or even 6th gen work in the 4th gen?

The metal clips are different, and they wont clip into the 4th gen seat. Unless you swap the belts and the clips, newer belts wont work.

have you tried taking it apart and just cleaning out the build-up thats preventing it from rolling back in or you simply want/prefer new ones.

I wanted something new that swaps right in. But I guess my choices are very limited.
