FSTB was causing my problem. Wow.

For a while now I've been noticing a crunching, metallic creak when letting on and off the gas from slow speeds. It also happens when putting the tranny in gear and when the tranny shifts to 2nd from a slow speed. Basically any time stress is put on the frame. Tonight I was browsing the forums, a couple days away from ordering a full set of front end bushings and maybe even a new rear motor mount to fix the problem. It's not like it was affecting the car, it just felt like the engine was going to drop out of the car soon. VERY loose-feeling.

So I come across a thread where a guy is talking about how a RSB added creaking to his car on uneven surfaces. I figure, why not investigate...10 minutes later, the FSTB is off and the car is SILENT. Every single creak is gone and the car feels 5000% more solid. To top it off, I notice no handling differences from the removal of the bar. Woo!

Was it hitting the manifold at all? Or purely a suspension creak?

Cool, it didn't serve as a major function anyways.

Purely suspension-related.

When I took mines off for a while I could feel the difference maybe just in my head though if you cruse about 25 mph and turn the steering wheel back and forth with and without the bar I think you will notice too
