eBay style CAI hole in pipe?
#3
Hah I did another search before replying just to make sure I didn't miss anything, and sure enough managed to track it down.
Let me modify my question then, in the post I found here the final word seems to be that you need to move the temp sensor out past the MAF into the cold air tube. Why can't you leave it in the upper pipe, is it "better" for that sensor to read colder air?

It is for your IAT sensor. It is located on your stock intake system. When you remove the stock system you will notice it. It goes in that hole.
Edit: It does not matter where the sensor is. Alot of people dont even have the sensor in the piping. I dont. Mine is tied up against the wiring harness. It makes no difference. Just do not unplug it or you will get a CEL.
