You will be fine.

Dont get too aggresive with the offsets.

I run 20's now on KSports, and I have them set down pretty low.

You can get the size of the rim bore from the wheel manufacturer. The size for a 4th gen (and I believe 5th gen) Maxima is 66.1 mm. Most aftermarket wheels are around 72-75mm. Rings cost about $5 a piece.

Tire Pressure: Where can I find the "Recommended Cold Tire Inflation Pressure" Label?

In my 1998, this is located in the arm rest between the passenger and driver seat. Pull up/Open the arm rest and the sticker label is on the part that you lift up.
Front Tire Recommended Inflation = 32
Rear Tire Recommended Inflation = 29

Also includes:
Vehicle Capacity Weight = 900 LBS.
Tire Size Dimensions = P215/55 R16 91H
Spare Tire Dimensions = T125/70 D16

What tire size can I use?

I chipped/scratched my rim. How can I fix it?

There are places that refinish damages rims. It usually costs $80 or $100 a rim though. Try http://www.rimpro.com or http://www.bentrim.com or do a search on the web for 'rim repair' you will get a bunch of hits.

i dont think he will automaticly become "VIP" LOL but go for it man..... now i know that 17 are as big as I want to go but ive had 19s on s techs on my first 4th gen and yeah they were huge and my stance was on point but they did rub at full lock. and they made my breaks look gay and put a lot of stress on everything... everything. IMO for your car i wouldnt do chrome.... throw some mesh style wheels with a nice lip n call it a day

you can either go "vip" style or you can just take it easy out there and dont draw attention to yourself by throwing revs, etc. keep it at the track.

the only thing "rice-worthy" on his max is the graphics, other than that it looks like everyone elses max on the .org

A close call? Assuming you were speeding(or doing some other illegal on-road activity), dubs arent going to get you any less attention than your current rims.

Put on some OE 17" if you want inconspicuous.

I think if you removed the graphics from the car it may draw less attention. But IMO any modifications to a car will draw attention. Just depends on what you do to it, what type of people will it draw. Chrome wheels will attract people who like shiny & flashy things.

But do what makes you happy. Don't change how u want your ride to look because of some cops.

If I can fit 19's on mine dropped down 2.5" then yes they'll fit. It has been done plenty of times before. Fender rolling might be necessary. I despise 20's.
