Screeching from driver's side

95 maxima gxe auto, 186k miles

I have a screeching noise coming from the front driver's side after driving on the freeway for a while. while driving to work (5 mins each way in town) i dont hear anything. But when i drive on the freeway for at least 30 mins or more i hear the noise when I get off the freeway and drive slower through town. hitting the brakes doesn't affect the noise. the noise gets faster as my speed increases. the noise doesn't change when the car shifts.
there isn't any vibration associated with the noise.

has anyone had anything similar to this? where do i begin?

Bearing is more of a grinding. Maybe something rubbing?

When I had a bearing going out it sounded like a squeaking noise, I thought it was my brakes but turned out to be a bearing.

it's more screechy around 5 mph and is a high pitched noise at higher speeds.

so... wheel bearing?

its not too much power (i wish), the car is stock except for I30 rims

Fam, I have the same problem. Mine is coming from my front drivers side tire, and I just got the bearing changed so in my case thats not what it is. My homie Tao who is a mechanic that works on Japanese cars said it could of been my brake pads, me and my other friend checked and thats not what it was. So when I bought it back to Tao he said he think it might be a clip missing from my pad or the caliper and it's causing my pad to rub against the rotor, so I gotta check that out...

I am having this exact same problem, i have changed both axels, all the brake pads, made sure it wasn't a strut moving or anything. When i was in a gas station after i had been on the highway for about 30 min, i did a u turn to the left and there was a loud squeaking noise almost sounded like it was rubber. Some guy approached my car who said he was a mechanic and said it was a tie rod problem. Let me know what you guys think, this problem is really frustrating me.

I've done some searching on the board and I need to know what parts to get. i'm going to buy a new hub to be on the safe side. looking at the diagram i see that there's the hub assembly and the bearing assembly. what seals do i need?

one car i had couple years ago was doing something like but was hard to know where the noise came from and i had to go like 3 or 4 times to the mechanic because the first times the noise didnt showed up ...i was surprised because the problem was only the rear brakes that were cracked.
