How Do The Fogs Pop Off?
^ I don't have a clue what that means,
the manual suggests poping off the side part of the light by "pushing up" and then there's a screw below it for the actual fog lamp itself...
this makes no sense to me. I pushed up like mad.

i was wondering the same thing... dont u have to remove he bumper cover? because the screws are behind it.
well if you see my profile pic youll see im missing my passenger fog. i bought one like 6 weeks ago at the pick and pull and im still wondering how to put it on... cause u can put it in there but how the hell do we put the screws on? anyone got a link to a thread?
the small glass section towards the center of the car must be removed to expose the screws. to remove you have to push in and up on the top (this is sometimes very hard to do, you can try sticking a screwdriver with cloth covering it and pry from the bottom but be careful not to break the piece) than there are two screws you must remove and than you pull the other part of the light out. be careful and keep trying and you'll figure it out.
its not the same as 97-99. I somehow think that based on how they look, the bumper cover has to come off or either some screws are to be loosen somewhow behind the bumper cover. The lights are "flush" with the bumpoer cover, so there arent any screw are there like the 99's.
I've done several fog lamp bulbs on my 95 SE over the past 13 1/2 years, and it's really very easy.
Press in and push up on the small, unlighted, plastic part of the light assembly and this part will pop off exposing one bolt that holds the rest of the light in. With this bolt out, pry the light assembly towards the center of the car to free up the 2, support clips on the outboard side of the light (I don't know how else to describe these clips - once you see them you'll see how simply they work).
You might need to pry the plastic part that covers the one bolt up with a screwdriver, but be careful - it and the clip that holds it in place are only flimsy plastic.
Once you know how to do it, replacing a fog lamp bulb is a 5 minute job.
Good luck.
LOL. idk what happnd it probably sat wih water in it at the pick and pull. thats the one i bought, but hey i only paid $5 for it. my drivers side i just took off is perfectly clean, just cracked from gravel hitn it.
Youre going to have to heat them up and open it up. The fogs are the hardest to open. And I mean hard. Ive done it twice to the same ones and both times it was hell. These make the headlights and all the other lights Ive opened up feel like a damn toy. I think they use a different glue/sealer. Ive even cracked my housing doing it too. Good Luck!
FSM (section BF, page 6) shows how the fog lights come out. You DEFINITELY don't have to remove the bumper cover. Christ, even US car designers wouldn't have been THAT retarded.
