HIDs

Hey guys, Im new to the board and proud to be a Maxima owner. I recently ordered a HID Kit and was wondering if anyone could give me tips on installing it. Thanks.......

Which ones did you buy? If they are OSRAM it should be an almost plug-n-play experience. All you have to do is balance the ballast and aim them down a bit.

does the ballast ever get out of balance????......

im thinking of getting HID's and was wondering if anyone had any info they could give me...

The two people to talk to on this board that sell HIDS are 97GLES and yoitsok, although 97GLES would be a better bet as I think yoitsok has gotten out of the HID business, I think.

the truth is that the best hid kit for the money is the osram kit. for the 3rd and 4th gen maxima it's easy to install. you don't have to balance the ballast. it should take about 15mins to install with-out cutting wires.

The HID Kit is called K2, its new. It has a tint of purple. Brightness is 6000k. Here are some pics of it, looks like a old civic.
