Wheel bearing FRONT

Ok i searched and can't find what i'm looking for. I just have a question on wether or not the front bearings are replaced as a whole hub assembly or do you just replace the bearing? My front passanger side is bad and i need to know what i need. I replaced the rear one probably 5-8k miles ago and that was a whole assembly, is the front different? And does anyone have any links on where i can get a good deal on one? Lemme know. Thanks guys.

the front you can get just replace the bearing. if the hub is worn out then you'll need to get that too. went to auto store and got a new bearing for 30bux. then i went to a junk yard and got the whole spindal for 50bux. guy was too lazy to take it apart. came in handy cause my caliper was frozen so saved another 60bux i didnt have to spend.

Front wheel bearings can be pressed onto the hub, provided the hub is not excessively worn. A new hub is $130.17 from Courtesy Nissan before shipping and applicable taxes. Unless you have a press, you will need someone to press them for you. Bearings seem to range from around $40 on up, with pressing costs around $30 to $50 per...
I just finished doing this on both sides.
Here are two pics of my bad hub off the car before disassembly:

See the difference?

Ok thanks guys that helps a lot, looks like it should be an easy and inexpensive fix, taking into account that my hub is still good lol. Thanks again

How do you know the hub is good? You can't really tell by looking at it, unless it looks like this:

The spindle is no good if the bearing falls off or you cal pull it off or move it by hand.

Be sure when you buy bearings that the place you get it from has a hub available. I've noticed that when the bearings go bad, the bearing can spin in the hub which can make the hub unusuable. So you might end up replacing that too.
