front motor mound problem

front motor mound problem

so were my front motor mound sits rutsed out and know my engine is jus sitting on there with no support it still runs like a baby but im worried that it might just fall out or something so i was told that my only 2 options are going to the junkyard and cutting the front frame from a junker or getting a pieace of meatal on soldering on there i jus wanted to run it by u guys to see what u think

you mean the lower radiator support? if so, yeah, you can have a new one welded in. labor will probably be around $400. the support itself from nissan, IIRC, is about $130. or, you can also have a piece of steel welded in. I recently had this done because the rad support that the shop used when they repaired my car was a cheap aftermarket one. it broke again right where the crossmember bolts up to it. I took it back to them and they repaired it by welding in a new piece of steel and bolting the crossmember back in place. so far, it's holding up fine. other than those two options, i can't think of anything else really that you can do to fix this.

hopefully it wont be that expensive i know a couple mechanis but yeah i think that those are my only 2 options
