manifold absolute pressure sensor
hey guys i think my snesor is gone and my frined has one but its from a 91 nissan hustler. do u think it will work in a 96 maxima? they look identical

OP, check the number of pins, and then the only way to really find out is to just try it.

Are you sure it's a Map sensor? My old *** D21 had an Airflow meter! I've never known Nissan to use a MAP sensor! I know Dodge and GM use MAP exclusively! All the Nissan Maximas I've owned since Gen 2 has used MAF's...

Wrong.
there is both a MAP and a MAF on the 4th gen.
GM uses a MAP sensor on some applications, it depended on that applications intended usage.

Im assuming this is a typo...

The manifold sensor is near the front fender driver side connected to the air snorkel. It has the words "boost" on it.
