Cautious about trying to replace A/C Evap
Well, for those who know, my car still isnt starting. Something is screwy with the ECU. For referrence see this thread.
Anyhow, I am thinking that a clogged A/C evaporator is causing shorts/corrosion with my ECU. I would like to remove the whole thing and clean it out and replace the o-rings, etc but I am cautious on doing this because Ive never dealt with it before. I searched and found a few threads, but no full guides or anything.
Does anyone have any advice? Is there anything I should try before I remove the whole thing to clean it? Any special tools I need?
Thanks

I just did mine a couple of weeks ago.
Clogged drain tube.. you "could" just shoot compressed air up it or use a wire hanger as some suggested, or you could do like I did and remove it entirely/open it up/clean it.
1. Compressed air/wire hanger will take you about 1-5mins tops.
2. The way I did it took about 5hrs. (including, replacing evaporator, replacing orings, cleaning blower, vacuum, and recharge)
If you're not confident.. go with #1
