custom exhaust advise

going to try and run 2.5 madrel bent piping and thinking of ending on this muffler http://www.autocarparts.com/part/1457/17/
what do you guys think? anyone has experience with this particular one or is there a better model to use, would like to stick with borla brand. any personal experience would be invaluable. one more think about the outlet should it be bigger smaller or equal to inlet?

I am using the Dynomax Super turbo #17747 almost stock size but has lots of flow. You can go to advacne auto parts and order one for like 45-60 bucks.

This is why I decided to get one

Cattman b-pipe + 5th gen rear section.

In that link, the 5th gen is ahead by 1.

That one you posted looks pretty high for just a muffler. If you get one like that, hopefully you'll complete it with a nice looking tip.

All I have is a y-pipe with that dynomax. It doesn't sound anything like a ricer. As a matter of fact, when just cruising around I cannot hardly hear it at all!!!!!!! I have gotten nothing but compliments from everyone. When going through the rpm band, its a nice low tone growl.

Do it, buy it, enjoy it.
I love this muffler. If you are a ricer you will not like this cause you can't get the lawnmower effect. I have the 3" muffler with 2.5" from the cat back, I got the 3" because of my vq30de-t.

I have this too, but with the 3" exhaust (from the y-pipe back), the sound is much louder. There is also a noticeable rasp.

High as in expensive, I'm certain that that price excludes shipping. Try to search eBay for a lower cost.
