hey guys, i was driving to the beach today with my girl in my 4th gen 5spd maxima , i notice my car is starting to have trouble shifting gears then i go to a redlight and the car starts chattering like my clutch wasnt engaged fully i keep driving go to the next redlight but i put my car in neutral and rolled to it, i put my clutch in and go to shift it into 1st and it wouldnt go in and im stuck at a greenlgiuht with all cars beeping at me, so i finally bnaged it into 1st just enouhg to get out of the road and i get on some side street i had to wait 6.5 hours for triple A to get there, my clutch doesnt work at all now like i push the pedal down and has no pressure and just stays to the floor, i didnt really notice any puddles on the ground but my car was a little wet, and my clutch fluid IS low, so what do you guys think i have done to it, and how should i fix it... So do u think i have a messed up slave cylinder or broken clutch line? and how do i go about fixing it? notice im not really a mechnanic but im willing to go out in fix it, if any of u guys have AIM please contact me threw there since i dont check my maxima.org as much my s/n is coryds so fly thanks alot guys - cory d

 

this doesn't belong in the advanced section... but it sounds like you have a leak with your clutch line. refill and bleed the clutch and see if you hold pressure. before you add more fluid and bleed the system, wiped down the clutch line and area, so you can see if new fluid leaks out.

Bleed the lower valve first then the upper valve. Get some good break fluid with a high boiling point
