You mean with two scissor jacks? I've done that in the past but only with a much ligher vehicle. It's not safest thing to do (a job much better performed with two jackstands like I have now). Definitely wouldn't poke your head underneath while doing this.

Don't use the crap jack that came with the car. Use a standard jack--you can use two at each "m" mark on the sides as you've mentioned or if you jack high enough on one "m" mark, you will find that the wheels to lift off the ground front/back so that only one jack is needed.

Like I said, only one floor jack is needed to do one side. Use the dedicated jack points on the sides of the car. There is one under the drivers door and one under the passenger's door. There are two notches there that make it look like an "m". Check it out.

Ya one jack is plenty, use the front spot and lift untill the rear wheel is just off

but its helful to have a friend so you can swap the wheels at the same time. The car won't be under stress too long, only takes a minute.

Whenever I rotate my tires I do the following:

1) Jack the front of the car on the center sub frame rail that holds the engine/tranny in place.

2) Place a jack stand on the square shaped fram rail just behind the front tire.

3) Now jack up the rear of the car by placing the jack in the center of the rear axle.

4) Place a second jack stand under the rear square shaped frame rail.

Now you will have one side lifted for front to back rotation.

all you need is 1 jack: lift on the front jack point until both tires are off the

ground
