WTF- Goodridge lines don't fit my car, 99se

had my brakes done by a fellow orger. We changed out everything except lines, because when we went to put on the SS goodridge lines, the fittings on the goodridge lines were too deep to make a good seal with the lines coming from the car, So fluid would spew out when the brake pedal would be pressed....obviously not good. IRP from the big org sent me part #22133 and it says 96-01 Maxima/infiniti i30. Umm what happened to 95-99 and 2000-2003. If this is right, then what they are saying is that the system is the same for the 4th gen as it is for the 5th gen. Im very surprised that these had a fitment issue at all as these are supposed to be a decent set of lines. anybody run into this?

TIA

i noticed it too. not sure whats goin on. i didn't get to see how it was sealing due to the state of my car but it was definitely of concern.

naw... i haven't drove my maxima in like 4-5 years. i put em on when i was doing my brake kit and noticed they didn't fit right but since my car is stripped down i couldn't test the brakes.

very strange. i did goodridge lines a few weeks ago and didn't have any issues. how much longer were the fittings than the stock ones?

mine are at least 2-3 mm too long/.deep. I even tried swapping hoses. you can see the difference right away- thesmall conical hole in the line is way deeper on the Goodrdige line than it is on the stock line. I called Goodrige and IRP and left messages with both of them. Waiting on responses.
