this is 100% opinion, i love cruise control, couldnt do long trips without it, so, i think u lose the buttons with a sports steering wheel, if u dont, i want one!

You can relocate the cruise control.

How can you lose it? Where would it disappear too? I have been tryin to get a momo on for a while now, but just can't get around to it lately. Just order it for your year max, the adapter too. Shop around, strait from momo's site is a rip.

Hopefully I'll be posting some good info on this soon.

Isnt it illegal to have a steering wheel with no airbag if it came with one from the factory? Or does momo make a sporty wheel w/ airbag?

I don't know much about Momo wheels so maybe they come with this stuff but I like my airbag, cruise control, and horn right where it is now.

Will your car operate with out the Air Bag? I thought I remember the sales guy telling me that if the Air Bag is gone...the connection not in place the car wont turn over. Would you have to remove all of the AirBag system? And BTW, are the 97-99 Airbags type I or II?

considering that all newer cars have to have airbags, i'm sure there's a way around it, otherwise there wouldn't be much of a market for steering wheels, correct? i've been browsing steering wheels myself and you can relocation the cruise control. not to mention, some wheels, i've heard, come with some sort of adapter that has controls on the wheel itself. keep looking, there's a way to keep everything intact.

Everything except the airbag...
