Tried alarm beep...now lights dont flash!

So I tried to do the alarm beep mod. Well, now my corners dont flash and my beep doesn't work when I lock the car. The car locks though. My blinkers and 4ways work, so its not a fuse. BCM fuse is good. I tried another relay and that didnt help. Any ideas???

I am freakin over this mod now...

you don't need a relay. Just use the buzzer. I believe the sticky says otherwise but you really only need the buzzer. I've had mine for several years now. Easy mod dude. Take your time and make sure you have the right wires. Good luck.

I'm not sure what happened. Its very easy to do. I didn't use a relay either. Didn't remove any fuses like they suggested.

Best thing would probably be to try to return back to stock and get working as is normal You can try mod again, maybe some other day?

And if I remember correctly, the one link we looked at was incorrect in the wiring.

I did this mod myself, seems simple but if you don't understand what you are doing and are not careful it's not that hard to mess up.

Its back to stock...and it still doesnt work.

And Im not stupid people. I know my way aroud circuitry and cars. Hell I used to run a business soldering, Ive installed everything on my car myself. Not to mention Im 17 and a Junior in college.

Im pretty sure my bcm is shorting out, and/or its fried. When I ground the orange wire, the lights come on.

Make sure orange wire has continuity to pin 18 of BCM. Otherwise maybe this BCM output is damaged.

Yeah man. Major in Engineering Technology with focus on Design and Minor in business. I might double major for an extra semester, I haven't decided.

And bars would matter if I drank

Still havent figured this out. I am kind of leaning towards a bad BCM.

G4, Yeah I probably will. Especially since bright futures covers 100% of tuition and fees...its basically free for me minus stuff like books, living costs etc.
