o man ...the ol " universal 02 sensor" drama. Best to get an NTK or Denso sensor.. they are direct fit and no hassle

Didn't it come with a wiring diagram? I did mine so long ago (ordered a Bosch set) but I'm 99.99% sure that the white wires are both heater wires, so, it doesn't matter which white wire of the universal connects to which on the harness. Just be sure to connect white to white and then connect the black wire. If you're still paranoid, you can do it this way:

Remove the old ones first completely. Then set a new one and an old one side by side, and line them up so that they are pointing/facing the exact same way. Cut the old one off, and replace it with the new one, making sure that you keep the identical wire orientation. This way, you will have put the new one directly in place of the old one and the wiring will be exactly the same. Kinda hard to explain (or type), but if you have any doubts and want to be sure the new one is wired up just as the old one was, you can do that if you want. I haven't had a CEL for 2+ years, so I must have done something right!

It's wired like this, kind of like a V shape. Black in the middle, capital I's are white, right?:

IiI IiI

Put them side by side just like that, take note of the position of the wires, cut, don't move the harness at all, shift the new sensor over to where the old one was and splice it into the harness. All of this is probably not even necessary, but if you're paranoid and want the wiring to be the same, just do it that way

Here you go enik23......

I did all the legwork for ya back in 07. Same info applies even for your 3 wire 02 sensor. Orient it the same as described.

On a side note, my thread should be in the stickies.....
