sunroof question

sunroof question.updated picture inside

Does the sunroof seal have a cut in the middle ? like a split between the seal ? its hard to explain , but my sunroof is leaking and its raining , when i looked at it i seen a split in the middle

is this normal or is that were my leak can be ? anyone can help .

yes there is a gap on the sunroof seal. it is where the 2 ends meet and it gets larger with age.
now I haven't had one leak into the car from there, it usually leaked because the sunroof wasn't flush with the roof.

My sunroof closes flush with the roof, but then when you [press on it a lil it goes down a bit , is that normal ? or do i need to fix something

You need a new seal. And about the pushing down thing it is usually normal to push down a little, but not to the point of unsealing. You can fix that by putting on new shims or doing the sunroof rebuild kit posted in the stickies.

check your drain hoses to make sure they a clear or dirt and debree.

Start here first. Easy and quick to do. A sunroof drain is located in the trunk under where the antennae and jack is...
When yo find the 'Y' connection, one hose is for the antennae drain, the other is for the sunroof drain.

Im pretty sure my drainers are clean i pure water in all 4 of them and the water came out under the car.
