quick question about 300zx brakes

well, I want to upgrade my front brakes, so I'll probably stick with regular old 300zx brakes with drilled or slotted rotors, I was just wondering if I need a relocation bracket for the, or if it's just a bolt up, if I need a bracket, where can I find them, I'm guessing steel braided lines and a 300zx master cylender would be recommended too.

Thanks,
Clay

Clay,

Yes, brackets are needed to run the 300zx brakes. Brackets can be bought from Matt93SE or Jeff92SE.

Steel braided lines are a must since the OEM lines don't have the same fitting to work with the zx calipers. You can get them from Jason here

Master cylinder is not needed.

I think all you need is to mill down the Z rotors a few mm and the conversion lines. The brackets are for Z/cobra conversion.

Right, relocation brackets are for running the 300ZX calipers along with 13" Ford Mustang Cobra rotors which are significantly larger than stock. Many people have this setup including myself. if you use the 300ZX rotors, you will have to have them milled down a couple of millimeters, and do not require the brackets. They will bolt right up. Braided lines are required as Wizard has mentioned above. Search my friend, all the info is out there. Good luck!
