Headgasket fixes?

Headgasket fixes?
My car has had a blown headgasket ever since i bought it in 04. It has recently started leaking/burning oil way too much. Everytime i get out of my car... i smell the burning oil. I know this will need to be fixed before i do any performance mods of any kinds.
So... is there anything that could be a temperary fix for this? I don't want to replace the motor if there is anything i could try first.

The car overheated twice two summers ago when the cooling fans went out. I shut it off but it did get rather hot... . Not good, i know. It got hot at least 4 times...
The only colors of smoke from the exhaust are white. It only smokes on hard acceleration or after i've let it cool down and start it up again. OK Ok.. i won't lie.... about two months ago...i was entering on an on ramp and my car hicuped really bad and then i covered the car behind me in blue smoke. It has never done it ever again..even under hard runs. Coolant leaks are blue right?
It doesn't smoke on partial throttle or even under normal driving conditions.
I can smell burning oil everytime i get out of my car after at least 15 mintues of driving anywhere.
Other than the small amt of white smoke after i crank it, and the burning oil... i've lived with for the last 2 years and been happy.
I just think it's time to do something about it.

Bar's is a good product, and from what I've heard works the best (as a purely temporary fix).
Oil burning is blue, coolant/ATF is white, and running extremely rich is black smoke.
Does your coolant level ever go down? Have you done compression and leakdown tests to positively determine it's a headgasket?

Yes my coolant resevoir empties itself every now and then.
My oil level depletes almost rapidly though.
My ATF has never been low... which is good i guess.
I guess i'll go get another mechanical check out to see if there are multiple problems.

I had both of these problems before on my 96 maxima.
The white smoke was obvious when i first started the car and dissipated after driving for 5 minutes; this was the coolant burning off. I ignored it for a while for over 1.5yrs. It seemed to have worsened over time burning more white smoke than usual. One day in the winter morning I went to work and it continuously was burning white smoke. It was embarrassing. By that point, I realized I’ve done some serious damage so I took it to the shop. I had an option for the mechanic to fix the problem ( possible cracked head) or get a new engine, and the cost for either or were both significant.
I decided on getting a lower miles engine swapped out and paid more than $2000.
After having this engine for a year, I noticed a puff of darker smoke at start up. Changed out the gaskets myself and that fixed the problem

u smell burning oil and ur leaking oil? are u sure u dont mean ur valve cover gasket? because u say it overheated from ur fans not working, not for no reason like a blown head gasket would cause. and it would over heat alot more than just twice 2 years ago.
edit: and why do cars smoke white in winter? humidity in the engine? idk...
