How much would be the 97 antenna for our car? its the motor one something hit it and now it wont go down all the way . The same thing rboke my passenger side mirror its cracked the plastic anyone know how to take it off? The 3 screw towards the bottom will that do the trick? Any idea how much this is goin to cost to replace/fix ?

Try Ebay motors, type in maxima.

I saw a side view for less than $50 i think yesterday. Try there for an antenna too.

You may not need the whole assembly. You may have just stripped the antenna mast. A new mast is around $30-$35 new from Nissan. If you messed up the motor a new one is like $180 for the whole assembly. I got a recycled assembly for $50. I would try the local recyclers or www.car-part.com

You may not have to replace the entire assembly. If it is bent wipe it down with a clean cloth and bend it into the proper shape. After that get some WD40, spray lube or even just plain old mechanical oil. Apply the lubricant and work it into the joints. Have a friend in the car retract and deploy the antenna a few times. If it has trouble going down gently push it and repeat the lubrication procedure.
I've done this twice on the old '95, about five times on the '90 and twice again on my dad's q45. Does the trick every time.
Hope that helps.
